Admission Criteria

Pre-University Education prepares students for the GCE “A” Level examination at the end of the 3-year centralized institute course or at the end of 2-year junior college. Students who completed their pre-university education successfully will receive a School Graduation Certificate. 

• School fees after subsidy: $6.00
• Standard miscellaneous fees: $13.50
• Second-tier miscellaneous fees3: $13.50 

Independent Junior Colleges charge a separate scale of fees. The range of fees for local students (excluding miscellaneous fees) as at 2010 is $300 – $400 per month4.

National examination: GCE ‘A’ Levels.

Co-Curricular Activities play a major role in admissions. All students take part in at least one Co-Curricular Activity.

Parents who wish to change their General Interbank Recurring Order (GIRO) account can go to their banks to change directly. If they want to do the same through Ministry of Education (MOE), they need to submit the Termination Form along with the new GIRO Application Form.

Similarly, parents can do the termination of GIRO through banks or through MOE.

Ministry of Education awards a comprehensive school testimonial called School Graduation Certificate to those who completed their education at the secondary and pre-university levels. It includes personal qualities and academic and non-academic achievements.

Annual fee payable is divided for 12 months of an academic year. Students who join on or before 5th February will have to pay fees for January and who leave on or after 5th October will have to pay fees for November and December.

Fluency in English is required to apply for a student visa to Singapore and the following English competency certificates are accepted: 

• GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education
• TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
• IELTS - International English Language Testing System
